wenling85 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2009 (edited) Recently downloaded a load of MKV files without subtitle, but these MKV files are very unfriendly to my pc players and this got annoying me until now. I google it and spent lol time and then finally figured out how to play MKV file and add subtitle to it.1.download the subtitle file for the MKV files in srt format.2.download a converter, put the srt file and MKV file to the same folder and named the srt as the same as the MKV file.3.set the output format to avi and set the output destination, then click "start".Done.Note, the converter will detect the subtitle file and add it to the MKV automatically once you load the MKV file to the converter. yordan 10 Report post Posted April 14, 2009 Nice info, thanks. However, your post is a little bit too short (less than 500 words), so it can not be really considered as a tutorial. That's why I moved your topic here, where it's place most probably is.RegardsYordan
