Can my windows mail account receive e-mails from my gmail account?Is It Worth It To Get Gmail ? Is Gmail Good?

Can I set my windows mail account to receive the e-mails from the gmail account. I have roadrunner as my e-mail and I have windows mail collect e-mail directly to my computer. I am not computer smart.
