Some people just don't have a clue. Oh, I'm backsniper in the topic, the name I used when I started playing socom online. Haven't done that in a while. I view it more as art, who knows how they see it.

I DIDN'T EVEN GET 1/10's ON MY FIRST-EVER IMAGE IN PHOTOSHOP. I've never even SEEN 1/10's EVER given to ANYONE. They take an artistic image and break it down, finding "faults" because it dosen't fit their view of graphics design. It's liek communism ,or socialism, or whatever the crap kind of system that dosen't like things that dosen't think their way. Kinda puts me in a bad mood for the weekend.

As soon as someone starts something of... it goes haywire.... i don't think anyone likes my graphics.. except a few... GIRLS... most boys don't like my style.. on my old site.. some guy started saying how my site was boring and was only in ONE colour.. i was like.. YEH it's suppose to be flipping like that...no one gets it...if you make it that way... it's THAT way... even if something is crap.. you could at least give people praise for their efforts...

I like your graphics and I always have, although they're not something I would make use of personally. It's just that for someone to come out and say "1/10, looks like some microsoft clip art placed on an image off of the internet" or whatever it was, just strikes me as wrong. I spent about 12-13 hours on that image actually, with 2/3 of it deciding how to finish it after most of the hard stuf was done. The tattoo part alone took about 8 layers and 4 hours to get as close as I what I wanted it to be. At least they didn't complai n about that, they just didn't like the picture and the "clipart" heart. Of course my attention to detail in some things were overloocked, because they didn't see them. I suppose that could be a good thing, but maybe not. I just posted another message there, some things I forgot to put in my last post there.

heh. Becca, that's how it is with me. Girls like my stuff, but guys hate it.GGG, I thought it was actually pretty cool. The neck was messed up >_> like, just how it looks sorta cut off, but i guess it fits in with the whole er....texture? you were getting at. but I like the rest. The thing is, that when one person says something negative, the rest follow. Don't mind them. They may thing they're telling the truth, but they're just trying to get away from saying everything they see is good, so they pick on one person.It's what happens everywhere. Like, there was this one thread where this girl posted her picture. People at frist started being nice and saying she was cute, but then one person said, "omg you're ugly" or something, they all started saying it after. People are just waiting for negativity so they're not the only ones. Who cares about them though, right? As long as you like it, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. It's how you see things, not how they see them. Besides, they thought that it was supposed to be realistic, cause I guess it's the common thing. It's different, and that's what makes it cool.

Then leave the site. If they don't know how to critique properly, then they shouldn't critique your art at all. If they can only stick to one style, that's there problem. You should get comments from people who probably actually know what they're talking about. They looked like a bunch of idiots that just liked to follow suit. Lame.
