I have introduced Anti-spam Campaign in my site @ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

The purpose of it is ,

 

Whenever a Spam bot visits that page to harvest email addresses, it

 

* collects a lot of useless, randomly generated fake email addresses along with fake contact names and images.

* enters an infinite loop as this page links to itself and generates a bunch of fresh fake email addresses every time it is reloaded.

euhm ... spam isn't only annoying because it send crap to your mail box, but it also generates a lot of traffic which in fact slows down the internet. By giving overloading spambots with fake adresses, you also let them generate a lot more useless traffic ... thus you're not realy fighting the problem.
