Network Simulator

Do you know a good network simulator? like Cisco Systems Packet Tracert, where you can configure the routers and other devices. Would be great if the software simulates the Cisco IOS.Thanks in advance

Well, if you can simulate that with software, then Cisco will be losing money. That's how Cisco's been making money all these years, with their specialized equipment to do a specialized job. As soon as you can get hold of a software capable of doing that, Cisco might have already advanced to something else, and most probably the old technology is worthless, or not as useful as it used to be

A good things is that we cannot practice on a live system for network administration stuffs. And purchasing a cisco firmware and hardwares are pretty expensive just to do some hands on practice.

I do have 3 emulators here but none is good enough to have the features that i need. The system is only enough to reboot, rescan and block sync floods but nothing else.

It only cost me $15.00 in comparison to hundreds of bucks purchasing the actual hardware.
