James_K 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2006 Thats looks wickedly awsome but how are you suppose to connect that to the power source? I mean are you sure thats going to work? and for a 120W it couldn't support a shuttel that is going to be some pretty low power stuff man but I guess for really really really weak laptops it ould suffice I hope they come out with more maybe supporting 500W Now THAT would be wickedly cool

ebbinger_413 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2006 that is amazing...i love it...i see how it works now...that black and white cord that is showing there...that would actually be plugged into a power adapter (much like the ones we use for cd players) that adapter would do the ac-dc conversion for it because the p.s. is unable to. this will make our mini modded cases much much smaller...mabybe now my plan to mod a power supply would work (i have seen it done before) but now it will be completely ironic...a modded ps with no ps ....i like where im going with this
poy 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2006 Those are really small, and good for low power. I was thinking about building one out of my old NES [i have 2] would be nice to have the cd drive go where the cartrages go =) Anyone know where to find these? They shouldn't be that expensive.
