jedipi 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2006 I just update ffdshow and xvid codec a few days ago.And I found that Windows Movie Maker will be closed automatically when I edit WMV file with it. it did not showany error messages. But it works fine after I uninstalled those codec. what's the problem with ffdshow and xvid??are they not compatible with Windows Movie Maker?? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Verify that you have decoding software installed on your computer that can decode the different files, and then try again.When my WMM is running, Haali Media Splitter and FFDShow Video Decoder go nuts throwing up multiple icons on my bottom menu bar.Please help!
