Screenless iMac ? Freaky....

nice one. Im not really sure how he was able to remove screen? and put an adapter for it, but anyway seems like a good solution, because without screen that iMac would be cheaper...

Yeah, I think buying a mac mini would be more... efficient(?) than bidding for this used imac. You just have to pay about $100 more to get speakers, a mouse and a keyboard, all with bluetooth. This screenless mac would only be some collector's item. (or someone who doesn't know about mac mini)

Yeah, the Mac Mini is newer and has Bluetooth and stuff, but you kinda get used to looking at this after a couple minutes. Would anyone else get this isntead of a Mac Mini based on style? It's got lots of it, and besides, I like domes. :huh:

thats sort of cool, but i'd definatly get the newer mini mac instead of that, on both style and technology. but mac release their new x86 stuff in the new year so id hold on to see what happens to their product range.

I know a lot of people that have PC's for gaming and a Mac Mini linked via a KVM switch for everything else. Although if you want a cheap copy of FCP 4...that isn't such a bad deal (even if probably less than legal technically...
