Problems With Creating Account I think I have problem creating account.

Recommended Posts

I am having problems with the Step 2 of the How To Activate Your New Hosting Account Guide.

When I enter all fields and press submit, I am getting the following window:

http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE A SUB-DOMAIN OF Xisto
Xisto DOES NOT REGISTER DOMAINS FOR YOU.  IF YOU HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED THIS DOMAIN AND WANT
TO USE WITH YOURS HOSTING, PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE POINTED YOUR DOMAIN NAMESERVERS to
NS1.TRAP17.COM and NS2.TRAP17.COM.  Please allow atleast 2 days for propagation.

[OK]

Should http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ appear to be a sub-domain of Xisto?

I hope you went to the page: https://support.xisto.com/ - right ?

If you're getting this message there - no problem - once you reach this message, press ok and wait. It might take upto 15minutes to finish everything regarding creation of your account.

Xisto and Xisto - both use the same scripts for these operations. New scripts are first tested in trap and then used here. Quite often, you'll find the messages relating to trap haven't been changed - but it's not really of any significance. It'll work just fine.

Try and let me know.

It's working for me as well. If you are using Firefox, try emptying the cache, close all firefox windows and then try to open it again. Or try it in IE or Konqueror or some other browser.

Can you try using firefox instead once ? None of us are having the problem with firefox. In case you can't use anything other than IE, let me know, I'll see what can be done.

Also try accessing it through: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and see if it works.

I actually do not have much of a choice on the browser, since I do not have a PC and internet connection at home. But I think, I do know the problem.

It may be due to firewall issues on that particular port from where I browse.

I will try from somewhere else and then let you know.
