szupie 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2005 OpaQue, where did you get that JavaScript for the error 404 page for Xisto? It's something I've looked for for a long time! I 've tried before, but couldn't achieve the typing effect with JavaScript. I'd be very happy if you could tell me where you got it.

I think I saw the answer to your question over at Xisto's partner site "Xisto.com" . Just search for "404" etc.. I,m sure I saw Opaque post to that topic, over there. Hope this helps RGPHNX

I even searched for such a topic, but I couldn't find it. I'll just wait for OpaQue to stumble upon this topic...
biscuitrat 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2005 You could just view source and copy the code...it's what I would do. It's really kind of like a marquee except in Javascript. Newstickers use them all the time.
szupie 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2005 (edited) You could just view source and copy the code...it's what I would do. It's really kind of like a marquee except in Javascript. Newstickers use them all the time. 61758[/snapback] I tried that, but it didn't work. I found many sites that have almost the same code. Oh, cragllo, most of the codes on that site there don't work for firefox, even the ones that claim they do. OK, I got it now. I didn't know the form part of the code was vital, so I deleted it and it didn't work. Now it works. /merged Edited March 20, 2005 by cragllo (see edit history)
