nothing much but just to say what i have on my new comp.. call it bragging call it w/e u want...my comp is a compaq:AMD athlon XP 3200+2.20 GHz512MB of ramcompaq fp17 flat panel monitornVIDIA GeForce FX 5200n the speakers... its like these 2 altec lansing ones that came with a big rectangle box one... they are pretty good but they mess up if u have ur cellphone on ur desk and somebody call/text msg u. on bhd 50 players in the game ping goes to 20-170 n it runs SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTHLy

Congratulations on your new computer. Everything looks good except RAM, I thought RAM would be of higher configuration as other configurations are quite impressive. My RAM is of the same MB of yours while others are of lower confi. May be I don't know much about the compatibility of different parts of hardwares.

Same here, congratulations for your new computer, I must say you have nice configuration, although I noticed you have bought 17" LCD display, maybe you should buy 19", cause it uses same resolution but it is bigger thou. But I guess this is good combo anyway. Cheers.

AMD athlon XP 3200+

every thing seem cool but why don't you get amd 64 bits? i would say athlon xp is the previous version, people usually get amd 64 in nowaday.

yeah i heard they have trouble with overheating, supposedly the AMD64 has a better heat dissipation system. yeah and the ram is a bit low. is it DDR2?
