Hi Everyone,After being away for a while I'm back, and I come with a big question for all of you. What do you use in your systems? MS SQL server, postgreSQL or MySQL...I prefer MySQL since it's very fast and it's robust enough for my aplications, how 'bout the rest of you?

Notice from m^e:
I added a poll to your post - so we'll be able to visualize the opinion better. Cast away... ;)

MySQL all the way. Not just fast and robust - FREE and OpenSource. It's nothing short of a wonder product. If you get me started I'd be singing praises all night long.

I would prefer it if you didn't ;)

With my limited experience, I would go for MySQL. Being anti-microsoft, I only use their products when I need to. I have only seen postgreSQL, and by the looks of the Elephant, it scares me, if it was pink, I would run away.

I have tested Oracle at school when they were messing up (and still are) with the servers.

MySQl is better than other. As I have been using it for 2 years... it has never been a problem...also i think postgresql is a good replacement of other huge rdbms as oracle and mssql ... since it is just starting to gain it popularity... it will take time for it...
