Assign keyword to Firefox bookmarks

 

You can assign keywords to Firefox bookmarks

Click on bookmarks menu > right click on your favorite bookmark > select properties

In dialog box in the Keyword field, enter the keyword you want, for example: Asta

In address bar type keyword instead of the site address and press Enter and enjoy! ;)

Firefox keyword is a very powerful tool..

I have been used it for a long time.

 

Actually, you can use this keyword tool to create bookmarks with search ability.

for example,

you just created a keyword of "google" corresponding to "https://www.google.de/?q=%25s&gws_rd=cr,ssl&ei=oeL6VMvABfGHsQSz8oHwAg;

and now you can type in "google mozilla" into the Location Bar will give you "http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/;.

That means a list of result will be displayed for you.

Wow, I didn't know about that before... Where did you find out about that? Is there any more similar functions like that?
