Graphiccards

Recommended Posts

The graphic cards that come from the motherboard sucks, best to get ones that can be added on as a PCI or ISA (don't think any new ones come in ISA). I have a nVidia GeForce 4 Ti 4200 with AGP 8X.xboxrulz

I have a standard that came with my comp.. do they really improve gaming that much? I've never wanted to spend that much money to get a nice one.

Well I'm cheap :D I run an ASUS Geforce 4 MX. Its got a cooler & fan, & its cheap to replace so I overclock it. ATM I think its stable at 292mhz on the chip & 532 mhz on the ram. Worth a couple of extra FPS :D Love a Radeon XT All-In-Wonder though, 9600 or 9800 would be great.

No, 6800 GT is the best for price and performance.  Mine is from BFG and I love it, I'm sure it will handle doom 3 at high good(cant put it at Ultra high, becouse it requires a 512MB Video Card).

Woo, that's what I have, a 6800 256MB..
Although, I didn't even know they made 512MB Cards... Jeese, what's the price on those things?

doom3 will need such memory only because of non-optimized buffer.
the best gc? propably 6800, but the 59xx series was great

greetz

I'm going with a 5950 256 MB. :D
