moonwitch1405241479 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2005 I'd say, since you are putting job info up there as well, go for professional. Keep it simple and smooth. That way it looks professional AND nice for graduates. But then again, I always have advised people to keep the lay out simple I hate the overly used graphics on sites, music that you can't stop,... you get my point LOL. It's a pretty personal decision, a web lay-out. You have to feel good with what you do. You could always make a lay-out and hear what your friends think about it. And then ask someone older, someone with already some experience in the business world That may help you get a good idea of what professionals are looking for. ignition 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2005 Just make sure the page is easy to navigate, and you should be good to go :DAnd since you're making it for a professional use, don't clutter it up with graphics. Make it easy on the eyes, and easy for users to find their way around -ignition
MrBond 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2005 Keep it easy to navigate around and make it look professional. I like sites with naviagtion bars at the top of the page rather than the side. If you plan on using pictures, always use photographs taken by an actaul camera. Don't use any drawn by hand or made on the computer unless they really add something to you site. Most of all, make it the way that you like it. If you see that it is not appealing to visitors, change it, but always make it the way it pleases you first. Brian1405241474 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2005 heres a good example. I think simplity is the most important, not only does it make it easier to use, but it just looks better. For example: Good (nice looking, easy to use. I like the tabs, you just know were you are. ) Bad (not too bad looking, but not as easy to navigate.) Keep it simple. The other thing is (and I know there are people here who won't agree with me) don't use flash! Flash has it's purposes, but I hate sites that use flash for navigation. It's just annoying.
