As k22 said mysql.org is a great one and also Xisto has a free db hosting server, and Xisto is a lot more secure then if you were to install mysql onto your computer Trust me I've tried it and it's a damn hassle!...Espicialy on windows boxes

I'd say if you wanna host your own though go with http://dev.mysql.com/

Xisto provides both MySQL and PostGRESQL servers - just take a look at your cPanel and you'll know.

I hope this web hosting doesn't place ad's onto oour website, that's why I join. I did quite a lot of research and then I can find this one, lucky me. Although we need to keep posting, but as long as it is free, fine!

Try https://www.100webspace.com/. They allows 5Mb of mysql database and 100Mb webspace with 3Gb bandwidth per month.

 

The bad side is the banner on top of your site.

Thats really Bad site brother.. previously i had An account there just for testing purpose.... And in 5mb sql we cant make a nice site..

 

Xisto is the best one ... Well only for freesql As many said mysql.org I had tried that twice... Both times it never worked for me.

 

Also remember that if you link to external databases the acess time goes up So must think twice.. anywayz best of luck for ur search .. still i recommend Xisto sql is the best

DO NOT try 100WebSpace.com. My old account is on there and I hate it so much. They have a fat banner at the top and they have rubbish statistics. That's why I came to Xisto.com they have everyone that a beginner could want, unlimited MySQL databases!

I agree, I have an account at 100webspace (cogia.net) and it's not very good. For someone using it just for testing purposes, it would be fine. Xisto is better, and if they allow unlimited that makes it even greater. Looking forward to getting hosted (again).

Please be more specific on what type of MySQL you need. Do you want the software, a host or something completely different?

Trap17.net is similar to Xisto, but forum posting is not required (the service, in my opinion is less valuable).And Joao Vitor, I couldn't really understand you post.
