wojta 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2006 If you only have a simple requirement to find pages that containkeywords entered by the user then (assuming you are in the position touse CGI programs) the NMS Simple Search might do what you want. Youprobably can get it working in less than an hour depending on yourtechnical confidence. You can find the Simple Search at:http://nms-cgi.sourceforge.net/scripts.shtml wojta

delivi 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2007 I'd recommend Zoom Search Engine, it is an application that you've to install in your PC and then index your online website or local website. You can create the final script in PHP or ASP. You can also create search facility for CD contents. The free version can index only 50 pages. and you've to index your pages each time you update or add new pages
FirefoxRocks 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2007 I recommend searching for Yahoo! Site Explorer for a sitesearch system or use the Windows Live In-site Search thing. I personally recommend the Windows Live one because it is more easier to edit stuff if you need to, and it doesn't go off site.
