NilsC 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2005 How can you call MSN "Stupid" It's an inate object... Server Error in '/' Application.Runtime ErrorDescription: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --><configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="Off"/> </system.web></configuration>Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --><configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/> </system.web></configuration> Mybe they got hacked...Nils

jipman 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2005 This is called, don't rely too much on M$...My heart runs over with joy when I see that MSN doesn't work. (sarcastic), they do have a lot of downtime these days.. I wonder when people start to move to Opensource alternatives (cough...jabber.....cough....)
evion 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2005 They might be moving their server or adding a new server. Like Nil said, they COULD'VE gotten hacked too I was thinking maybe because Yahoo! and Google are competing against each other, MSN would be joining the fun! madmax1405241478 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2005 Whenever MSN messengeris down I always go online to http://www.msn.com/en-ca/ to use the online version. Its pretty cool and has all the same functions. More over nothing needs to be installed.
Hercco 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2005 I connect to all four major instant messenging networks and it is interesting how MSN is the sovereign king of downtime... Thar's why people shouldn't just use MSN only. Get another one to the side or better yet log to IRC.
