List Of Free Mmorpg..

Recommended Posts

I used to play knight online but it got a bit boring and buggy, also i hate games that have been translated. I'm going to have a look at silkroad online because that seems to be the best one at the moment. There is a free game called savage and i think it is a cross between an rpg, rts and fps.
I've played a bit of it and i haven't really liked it but if you want to try it out -> http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

There is Trickster. I heard it was really good from my friend. The website is Tricksteronline.com It too was translated from Korean. It seems that Korea is best at MMORPGs, or at least one of the best.

Dont forget Planetside. God how i hated that game! Its still in beta i think

For the record of anyone who's dug this thread up (like me), PlanetSide's ended its Reserves trial scheme. There are 10 day trial keys out there, but if you plan on playing this game other than just trying it out you'll end up having to subscribe. As for it being in Beta, it's developed a lot since 2005. Easily the best MMOFPS out there, in my opinion, and well worth the subscription.

One game I really liked that you forgot was Dream of Mirror Online (a.K.A. DOMO). Its a 3D MMORPG with lots of classes and quests. YOu can capture monsters to help you fight and at lvl 15 you can fly on your weapons( weird right?). The website is domo.Aeriagames.Com

Wow, great list.Maplestory is SOOOOOOOOOO fun!!There are lots of classes and the level cap is 200!!I played for three and a half years and I still didn't get bored of it. It takes forever to get to level 200 so you don't need to worry about beating the game... They have patches every month or so and the pirate class is coming out soon.

You Forgot the best one Second Life

Do enjoy this list :P (ALl these are games i have played b4 and are still free):

http://www.runescape.com/

This game is so called "3D" .. although i looks like it, i don't feel it is 3D :D.. this is a quite a fun game actually. I played this game actually 2 years back. You can do lots of things like mining, blacksmithing, fishing and there are many quests in this game. Very typical MMORPG ;).. You can PVP in wilderness too, very fun, especially when you kill someone and get all his loot ;)..

http://www.nexon.net/landing/maplestory/

This game is a side scroller MMORPG and the gfx are very cute and lovely ^^..You

can choose 4 different type of classes: Warrior, archer, thief and mage. This game is 2D and it is kinda fun, but all you can is kill monsters, there are group quests and there is no PVP in this game.

http://www.gunbound.com/

This is also another side scroller 2D game, but it is different from your typical MMORPG. This game is something like the game "Worms" , if anyone knows what it is :P.. you can play 1 vs1,2vs2,3vs3 or 4vs4. The graphics are quite cute and pleasant.

This is currently a new 3D MMORPG in beta. Translated from korean.. it is made by the company gravity which also made Ragnarok Online. It is very similar to ragnarok just that it is totally 3D , i have not played much but i know alot of people who enjoy this game. Another typical 3D MMORPG translated from korean to english :P.. again no PVP..

http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

This game is 2D and it is about vampires VS slayers. lots of PVP content in it.. it's all about vampires fighting slayers and there are often raids etc. I would suggest this game for gamers who likes to PvP :P..

http://www.eternal-lands.com/

The game is now in Beta stage, but that doesn't mean it is incomplete and it plans on being free. There are 9 skills, total character development freedom, many quests, religion, a lot of NPCs, animals and monsters. If you are a PKer, you can fight other PKers in special maps. If you are not a PKer, then you can stay on the non PK maps, where you don't have to worry about being attacked by other players. You can fight monsters and other players, hunt animals..

Please continue adding to this list if possible :P..

Forgot a couple!List Of Free Mmorpg..

Here are a couple of other free mmorpg games both are full 3d and offer both free and paid play!

Anarchy Online.

A 3d fantasy rpg game. Loads of missions, PVP allowed.  3 side of the game to choose. Omnitek- which is basically a coorporation bent on total control of the world of Rubi-ka. Clan- which is the resistance. And Nuetral- basically the lazier side who wants neither involvement. The free version is a full version, just doesnt have access to expansion areas or items. Game is server based and alot of fun! If you decide to play look my toons up: Mariusthorne, Xsesshomarux, and MariusTrader... I can help out with learning to play and helpful hints to get rich and powerful in game!

download the client @ http://www.anarchy-online.com/

Second is Infantryzone

A free serverbased MMORPG full 3d years ago I had fun playing it. IZ is a server based war strategy game. Not sure on what updates they have made I barely even log into it anymore. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

Purely Primitive UOList Of Free Mmorpg..

hey thanks for the list.

I play on a player-run UO server called Purely Primitive.  It's free, forever, and sells no ingame items or anything for $.

UO is an old game that is not graphic intense, it is top down view and 2.5 d. It had some of the greatest and many say most balanced Player v Player combat of any mmorpg. It features player crafted items, player designed houses, pet animals, dungeon crawling, and a great community feeling.

It is a game that allows open pvp and player killing, yet that is NOT the focus.

UO is a skill based not level based game. On Purely Primitive when you die you lose 1% of your skills. Everyone takes great care to protect their lives, and this leads to a richer more realistic atmosphere. The server is family friendly, but not for the feint of heart.

If you are interested there are LOTS of customization made to this server, far too many for me to go on and on about here.

hey, if you ask like that^^

I know some mmorpg on the internet.

You have blood wars first. (Sorry I lost the link but its easy to search on gg)

In this game, you are a Vampire who rules a town. In this town, if you have enough money and workers, you can build a taxi, a black market, and a lot of buildings which permit to progress.

Also you can attack the other Vampires, do some quests, find weapons and blood stone to stuff them. The more you increase your level, the more you can boost your skills and thus, equip weapons more powerful.

You can meet other Vampires and create a team also.

If you want to play, just know that its for free. You just need a connexion to internet.

Secondly I know Dead Earth. Your character administrate a City where you can recruit workers to increase the level of your buildings. The effect will be that you'll obtain more resources each time. With this resources, you can increase your buildings again or build new. You can recruit an army also, and then attack the other players and win his resources!

You can join a Guild too, create hangars to stock your resources, etc...

Definitely a good game, for free of course.

Moreover, you have a forum for Dead Earth. On this forum you have a writing part for the game. This is where you can present your character, meet others, form a Guild... Or decide to organize a BIG war^^
