I used to listen to pop all the time, and classical, since I do play the piano and cello. >_> But recently, I've been getting more into rock and Jpop for some reason. O_o;; I think it's one of my Japanese friends that's influencing me.

i like to listen to a variety of music... i dabble in evanescence and like to listen to alter bridge... i also like to listen to rap such as tupac and nas... another genre i like is country i like to listen to mongomery gentry and alan jackson... and i play classical on the piano

Well...I prefer to listen to R&B, but I like some rock. (ZZ-top) My favorite music artiest is Usher. If you have not listened to his 5701 cd you should get it. I also like to listen to Hip-Hop. (Michael Jackson)

I, personally, listen to metal and goth, elektro, rock, some oldies, ... So I'm quite openminded when it comes to music...

i listen to hiphop...REAL hiphop music...and i mean rappers with real lyrical skill...none of this Laffy taffy type stuff they play on the radio....that stuff is whack..."shake that laffy taffy" ???? c'mon now.... to quote Joe Budden "...most rap dudes dont even know what they recordin...so most of yall fans dont know what yall supportin". props to all the rappers keepin it forreal in hiphop. thats my two cents...but other than hiphop..i listen to jazz, oldies, rock, classical...whatever sounds good.

Rather than post plain old genres, I'd prefer to name a few of the bands I listen to on a daily basis... some of which you may make fun of, and in that case, I say "Bite me."Mudvayne, Mushroomhead, The Mars Volta, He Is Legend, Pantera, Tool, Stone Temple Pilots, The Doors, A Perfect Circle, Cold, Tchaikovsky, Queens Of The Stone Age, Korn, System of A Down, Snot, Nirvana, Crossbreed, Meshuggah, Otep, and some other bands that, trust me, you don't know.

Seems that this topic is quite old, but anyway, I listen to metal, mostly I like doom metal, melodic or atmo death metal is fine to me, some black metal bands, and a variety of doom metal substyles..
