Another e-mail question pop 3 access

Hi,I'm still trying to find out how I can get e-mail through my pop3 email client. Where can I find the pop3 server addr, smpt server addr and why not imap server addr. Please help me...:-)BrgdsJens

I'm not sure, but I think they're all the same pc. with other words, the same IP.*does NMAP*Interesting ports on (69.50.168.69):Port State Service22/tcp open ssh 25/tcp filtered smtp 110/tcp open pop-3 Yup, just use Xisto.com for all of them. I'm not sure about smtp, though, since my ISP filters it outbound. If it doesn't work, just use your ISP's SMTP, or whatever SMTP you had before. You can use any SMTP server with any email adress. (You don't need to authorise for SMTP use, normally.)

I think it is like thispop3: yourdomain.astahost.comsmtp: yourdomain.astahost.comLog in: "yourmailaccount"+"yourdomain".astahost.comPassword: "YourMailPass"Have you made an email accoutn in CpanelI will try these settings myself and feedback when i ahev results.

Trekkie, please don't double post, and by the way, your subdomain points to the same pc as Xisto's main domain. So what I said:

Yup, just use Xisto.com for all of them.

Was complete and totally right.. no need to make things more complicated.Oh and, get rid of the www in front of your "domain". It's pointless. :) Only making ur URL longer. :)

I did tried now and yes, it actually did works. Cool :-)

POP3: t101.astahost.com

SMTP: t101.astahost.com

 

log in: t101+t101.astahost.com

 

Once dont i had to go (in outlook express)

Tools -> Accounts -> Properties -> Servers

Then check "My Server Requirs Authentication"

Then "OK"

 

Then it is done and i tested it.
