The Lord of the Rings What do you think of this trilogy

By far one of the best trilogies of all time. I would have to rate it right next to the original Starwars trilogy. I have read the books as well and I agree that the books were better than the movie, but the things they did with that movie were awesome. The CG was awesome and the way they translated the story into film was really good. I remember that I saw the fellowship right before the two towers came out and I couldn't believe it. I had never even heard of the LOTR until the movie and then wham!, it was like LOTR everywhere. Awesome, Awesome movies.

I didn't think it was so much worse than the book; in fact, I thought it was pretty decent...!
