Nisshutsu 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2004 Could you possible translate the following text for me? I plan to translate my entire website into text. This is only the intro text though. Do you enjoy white water rafting on the Delaware River, scaling down rock faces at summer camp or trekking across southern France during your summer break? If so Scouting was made for you. Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 246, a non-profit organization aiming to develop more informative and productive young men who better the community. Located in Middletown, NJ, Troop 246 serves approximately thirty scouts between fifth and twelfth grade. Each Tuesday, the troop meets at Nutswamp Elementary School at 7:30 P.M. to discuss upcoming camping trips, rank advancement, and merit badge progress. What makes these weekly meetings different than that of other organizations is that the scouts run the entire show, not the adults. Scouts are divided into patrols where patrol leaders are elected. These patrol leaders are placed in charge of keeping the rest of the patrol up to date on current events such as when and where weekly meetings are and camping trips. In charge of the entire troop is that of a Senior Patrol Leader and his Assistant. These two scouts are in charge of making important discussions, presenting upcoming camping trips to the rest of the troop, and choosing scouts to lead the troop on camping trips. Elections for these positions are held twice a year where all scouts are allowed to run and vote. Thanks,Nisshutsu
Good luck with your website! =DH=Freefighter 0 Report post Posted October 3, 2004 Btw in Holland we don't have "Grades", maybe its better to mention "the age of the scouts" instead.

I`m working hard to make a website in English, and now I see people to the same thing, but than eh.... omgekeerd. (I don`t know the word in english) Ik zag in de vertaling op deze pagina staan in de nederlandse vertaling 7.30 p.m.. Kan dat niet beter 19.30 worden?Veel succes met vertalingen! avalon1405241471 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2004 Does anyone could tell me how a program translate from one language to another? I dun think it does word to word, if so then it is a dictionary not a language translation.Anyone?
ChronicLoser 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2004 https://www.freetranslation.com/but like some of the other people said earlier....the grammer may be a bit off...but i always thought this site was fairly accurate how you can tell if a site is translating word for word is to write a somewhat complex sentence in English. Translate it through one of these sites. Copy the result and then translate it back to English. If it matches word for word...then you know it's a bad translator which disregards phrases and grammatical errors.
TavoxPeru 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2006 For my last work I try some online translators and as the other members said earlier the major problem with the translations are grammer related, I tryed babelfish.altavista.com, freetranslation.com, google.com translation tools, dictionary.com, Worldlingo.com, etc. and the more accurate results that i get was using the last one, so be careful and always review your results.Worldlingo -im not sure- beside the common text and website translation services is the only that offers an email translation service.Try it here: http://www.worldlingo.com/best regards
