Witch Hunt Of Chrome Against Xisto?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I tried to log in to my CPanel a few minutes ago (through my browser which is Google Chrome Version 24.0.1312.56 m, which is the latest version.).

However, who can describe my astonishment when, all of a sudden, I get a Malware warning?

(I have attached a screenshot, see below).

I am quite sure there must be some mistake, as Xisto is the last place on earth I would suspect of sending Malware to the users' computers.

Upon clicking the link where you can see more details, Chrome displayed the following:

How did this happen?

I thought it would be best to report this, hope I am doing it in the right place, and, as far as I can understand the explanation, it seems like a site hosted on Xisto - Web Hosting is sending out Malware.

However, I do not think Xisto has anything to do with that directly, which is why I want to alert the people at Xisto, and I am sure the staff will be able to solve this problem.

Hopefully we can get a bit of feedback after the situation has been resolved.

Hope this was helpful.

Sorry. Opaque, but now, 7:37 GMT, I am still getting the error. This time as soon as I try to log in while, if I remember correctly, I only got the error message after entering my username and password earlier.I had even cleared my cache, but that did not make any difference.

Google may not recognize that the issue has been fixed until they re-inspect the site, which can be a few hours.See if the same issue occurs in a day's time. And report back here if it does happen tomorrow morning (your time).

Hi,

I opened the page in Chrome version 18 and there were no warnings, But the funny thing is that it displayed the page like the attached image

But after I log in it's back to normal.

Funny isn't it?
