i got a server on my pc to run so when i access the web it works just fine but when any one else on the other pc's tries to they get page not found wwhats wrong?http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

If you have a dynamic IP you could sign up at http://www.noip.com/ to get yourname.no-ip.com as your domain name. That way you'll always have a domain that points to your computer.


Then if you really want the uni.cc domain to point to your computer you can set it to redirect to your no-ip domain.



Another thing you should think about is getting a decent firewall if you don't already have one (the Windows built-in firewall doens't count). And you should check with your ISP that you are allowed to set up a server on your connection.

yup, now working. most probably a dns propagation issue. now, it resolves to the proper servers. btw, i like the color scheme (platinum) of your site. ;)

no iam using my webhost server :/ my firned who is like server wiz said it might be my isp

then sign a free domain -- go to the cpanel you will find the options " locate the domain to your own computer " then Click it you will get your computer for a server of internet
