sheepdog 10 Report post Posted November 17, 2011 Has anyone tried one of those ionic air filters that you just slide out the center and wipe the crud off of the collection plates? They are rather expensive, and I hate to waste money. But the old man has COPD and I'm asmatic, so we could really use a little help in the air quality department. We had that leaky roof a few years ago, so there could be a mold problem in the house, not to mention all the animal dander I am sure I carry in with me on my clothes from working outside in the barn and kennel. It's worrying me more this time of year, since it's getting cold and the house will be closed up now.
