iAssistant 1 Report post Posted August 14, 2011 Do you have an anti-virus? If you don't have, I advise you to download one in the internet, there are many free software that you can download. After that scan your usb so that you can clean all the virus that you get. Goodluck.
emilykrys 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2011 Malwarebytes is a good antivirus and the free version should allow you to remove most things there's also Microsoft security essentials or if its like a flash drive and there's nothing else on it you can format it too. VickyMilza 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2012 The best option to formatting is to connect the usb drive to your desktop or laptop and get rid of the virus in the usb drive through a simple virus scan. This is clean but there is a catch. You need a desktop/laptop that has anti virus software. While it should not be that difficult, we need to be prepared for all eventuality. And this post will help you to be ready to remove virus from usb when 1. You have some important file on your usb and hence can not format it and 2. You do not have a desktop/laptop with anti virus software installed on itThanks in advance,Vicky
