8bit 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2005 ok i liked the smart dot idea only bc i like the name better than uni.cc (sry lol) my site is http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and it doesnt forward to penguins.trap17.com when i put that in the forward box, it just goes to smartdots.com, do i have to have Xisto.com change anything? 53640 Now that is WEIRD. Check your settings and if they are right it's just the DHS provider. Email them and tell them, or find another DNS people.
canute24 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2005 C'mon people, top level domains are less than $10! DNS! yoursite.com; Not really too expensive, don't have a credit card? Use your checking account! Ask your parents if you don't have one, I'm pretty sure the excuse "this will help me because it has to do with what i want to pursue in my future" might work! Did for one of my friends anyways, of course, he really is planning to pursue a future in web design! 53405 Only a nut would go for a .tk paid domain. You can get a .com site from Xisto - Web Hosting for $9.95 with hosting. Whereas .tk you need to have a site hosted in the first place. It works fine now. No problems at all. I have visted the site about 5 times now without any problem. There is a better site you need one hit per month there: Freedomain.co.nr. That's better than 25 hits for 3 months.
