rvalkass 5 Report post Posted February 20, 2011 Do you already have a case, CPU cooler, optical drive and power supply? If so, what's the specification and age of these components? You'll want to make sure the power supply is powerful enough to handle new hardware, and is of a reputable brand to ensure stability of the power delivered to the expensive components in your PC. You'll also want to make sure your CPU cooler is compatible with AMD's socket AM3 on your new motherboard. Finally, make sure your case has the right mounting points for a uATX motherboard as you've selected.If you haven't already got those components, you're going to need to add them to your build.
