Virus Ships With Dell Motherboards

Some REPLACEMENT server motherboards ship with a windows virus in the firmware.(made in china anyone ?)Dell is contacting all those affected

really??this is the first time i hear such a thing. could you please give us a link or tell us your source of getting these information. i am so curious now.

Yeah, please link us to this information. I wouldn't doubt that it's true though. I've heard of a few USB thumb-drives that shipped with virii in the past.There have been other things that did as well, like games and stuff like that.

I don't understand one thing though. How come virus is shipped with any USB or HD. Do they recycle their old disks or something ? If things like USB or HD are supposed to be shipped directly from manufacturing unit then i see no reason why such units are having defects.
