Tremayne 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2009 Yes The Xisto - Web Hosting network allows you to chmod files to 777 although for you it might not be the most secure option.
mahesh2k 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2009 Yes you can setup chmod 777 or 755 on your files. But why are you asking this ? i mean did any host rejected you for this ? or are you planning to write some script that is vulnerable ? your post counter looks empty. I think there is suspicious with account. Are you banned ?
Ash-Bash 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2009 Yes Xisto (Xisto - Web Hosting) Do allow this, I cannot think of a host that will not allow such a thing. CHMod is very important in FTP Hosting etc They are obviously a rubbish host where-ever you was hosted.
rubikcode 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2009 I suspect that he wants to chmod the root directory of his system. Of course most host do not allow that for security reasons.
