phoenixinno 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2009 I recently bought a new acer laptop, it has linux on it but no cd drive. I need to install windows. A netwrok install is not an option for me, Anyone sorted this out or got any ideas about how to sovle this. I saw that xp can be installed by usb but could not find an easy tutorial to use. Saint_Michael 3 Report post Posted February 28, 2009 Yeah I would go with the external CD-Rom drive, of course I question why your laptop didn't have a CD-ROM drive with it though?
