saitunes 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2008 I'm looking at buying a M-Audio Audio interface (The mobilepre USB, its like a pre-fasttrack type one) and I am looking at getting Pro Tools (industry standard recording software) Made By digidesign, and much to my delight I found it comes with a version of Pro Tools M-Powered.I was doing a bit of reading on it and it says 'You can take your M-powered sessions to any Protools HD or Protools LE system' It doesn't however mention anything the other way, A HD /LE Session in M-powered. I can't think of any reason as to why it wouldn't work. Has anyone used pro tools LE / HD sessions in M-powered?Thanks.
iGuest 3 Report post Posted December 9, 2008 AnswersPro Tools M-poweredHi. Be careful with the Pro Tools software that comes bundled with the M-Audio hardware you are buying. Its the Pro Tools free version, and it does not allow you to save your work. So you would still have to buy the software. Secondly, all versions of Pro Tools, the sessions are interchangeable. So you can go to work at your fancy pants job at a multimillion dollar studio, with an HD system, take it home and mess around on your LE or M-Powered system. hope this helps-reply by Jeff350zorro
