bluedragon 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2008 Hi, I just noticed that my DVD-ROM has stopped the Autoplay feature. I have to right-click on the drive and select Auto-play to start the installation or stuff. Can anybody tell me where is it located in the registry ? i think something has messed up my registry for this autoplay Thanks
klusk 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2008 (edited) here is how you can enable it using group policy...start --> run type Gpedit.msc, go to computer configuration , administrative templates , system there search for "turn off autoplay".if you want to enable Autoplay...Disable it.don't let it be "Not configured".I guess this should work... iGuest 3 Report post Posted August 18, 2009 Auto Play ErrorRegistry Key For AutoplayIs there a way to change what happens when you click an icon in My Computer? When I double click an icon (removeable media) within My Computer it gives the error "D:m.Exe could not be found" when it should be set to open the D: drive and not do an autoplay of this file. -reply by ResQtech
