ashiezai 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2005 Do worry .. google will update it sooner or later. :rolleyes:believe me .. did googlebot visit u lately ?do u have a PR ?google will sure catch up ur website content ...frankly if ur website isnt that popular or do not have a high PR .. ur google's cache wont be updated that frequently .. mine got updated about 1-2 weeks time. Imagine the work load of google updating 8 million pages .. give them some time :)google doesnt care that much for the revisit meta tag
bjrn 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2005 I'm not sure if you are talking about the cache or the search results now. But if you really don't want outdated versions of your site in the google cache you can make it so that the googlebot doesn't cache your site, by adding<meta name="robots" content="noarchive">to the head of your html documents (you can replace 'robots' with 'googlebot' if you only want to stop the googlebot from archiving). If it's the text in the search results that are outdated you'll just have to wait until the bot comes by again. iGuest 3 Report post Posted July 27, 2009 How to I get the search to delete one of my resultsClear Google CacheI used to have an account with a networking site called 'netlog', but I deleted it ages ago. I tried to get in contact with them to remove my search from Google, and they told me to get in touch with google directly, I am really struggling to find out where to go, I am not the owner of the site, and my name does not come up in netlogs directory anymore, so why is that page still showing?? Please help! -reply by Mike Borkett
