DANGIT! Does anyone know how to GET FLASH!? I have looked everywhere but I cannot get the actual Flash Maker, and, even worse, I don't know the actual name of it so I can only search for "Flash" which gives me nothing I want!

The most popular product used to produce Flash files is Adobe Flash CS3 Professional (or it's earlier versions). However, the price is a little too high unless you are a professional, and there are a variety of other tools out there you can use. If you run a search for "create flash" you will get quite a few different pieces of software thrown at you:

search:create flash

One of my favourites is OpenLaszlo as it outputs Flash files and DHTML, and is based more around coding than designing to create your content. Oh yeah, it's also completely free and open source.

another best freeware for creating SWF files is, UIRA

UIRA was developed as a Flash authoring tool for Linux. It is based on another project called QFlash. The project is still in beta and the actionscript support is not up to the mark. UIRA functions very well for creating simple SWF animations without any programmming. The interface is similar to that of Flash. It also supports importing of SVG files.
