"Artificial Cornea Saves Eyesight". This is the news article i studied recently. Advancements like this make things better. So definitely there is hope for those having problems with eye sight. Though awareness with respect to "Eye Donation" is spreading, the ratio of donors to people who need them is in a mismatch. "Scientists have developed an artificial cornea. Teaching the Tongue to SeeIt's an audacious idea, and I didn't believe it was possible until I saw the video. But it really is possible to teach blind people to see using their tongue. By connecting a camera to an array of electrodes that stimulate the sensitive nerves inside the mouth - a pixel of light is translated into a slight pinch - scientists can literally retrain the brain.
