Kadak10 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2007 I find that as more and more people use the internet more often, there are almost different genres of websites people will look at. If i click a link and see lots of circles, designs that are too smooth, it is kind of annoying, and i wont really look to deeply into the site. As this is the case, i was wondering what people like, so I, and possibly others, can design websites that will be pleasing to more people. If you want, post your choice and give us a few reasons why thats appealing to you. fffanatics 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2007 i prefer light and simple designs but it all depends on the content of the site and what type of site they are. If they are for a video game, the site should have colors that define the game. If it is for a service, it should be the colors of the companies logo. A light background and dark font tend to be the easiest to read but I myself even design sites with dark or semidark backgrounds at times. It all depends on the genre of the site.
