does the phone and your computer have bluetoothh? that is by far the easiest way to transfer stuff like ringtones from your computer to your phone. i have a motorola v3 (i don't really like it but it does the job) and that is the ONLY way i can transfer stuff from my computer to my phone. what model do you have. i didn't know there was an earlier model of the motorola razr before the v3.
