Password Problems Please Help I cant access my CP

Recommended Posts

I have entered my password, I have reset my password and entered the new one and it still won't let me onto my control panel, the login box just sits there. Staring at me. I know the password I entered was right as it was working fine yesterday and the day before. I changed my domain name before the password problem. Thanks

Please specify "domain name."If you changed to a top level domain (not a sub domain) you should know that you have to wait about 24-72 hours before your domain name can be propagated. Which means, your-domain.com/cpanel will not work until your-domain becomes propagated (properly resolved). In the mean time you can access your cPanel by using IP-address/cpanel or gamma{dot}xisto{dot}com/cPanel

Which way(s) have you tried?ip_address/cpanel?gamma{dot}xisto{dot}com/cpanel?or your-domain-name.com/cpanel?I can see that you still have your default index page. Since I don't have your login and password I cannot test it further. But your domain and cpanel access is working fine. Question: do you see a security alert pop-up page right after you enter your-domain-name.uk/cpanel? If so do you click on YES on the security alert message? If you're not, you cannot access your cPanel.

OR it is that you hosting account has been suspended, and you don't have 4 credits yet (what happened to me). This isn't really my say, it's for BH to figure out, but that might be it.

That option was already checked before I made the reply :( Hosting credits are good and they are not under suspended mode. Otherwise I would not have said, "I can see your default index page." I have lists of trouble shooting steps. But thanks for reminding it for others :P
