Daylight Savings Time For 2007 Update For Win Xp And Mac Os X

As you probably know already, the DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME (DST) in 2007 will change as The Energy Policy Act of 2005 takes effect in the U.S. and Canada.

In a nutshell, the new DST will start on the SECOND SUNDAY in MARCH (instead of 1st Sunday in April) and end on the FIRST SUNDAY in NOVEMBER (instead of the last Sunday in October). So starting this year, the DST (a.k.a. "summer time") will start on 3/11/'07 and end on 11/4/'07.

Your computer's operating system must be able to automatically adjust the time according to the new DST schedule. Computers at your work place should be taken care of by your IT department. For your own computer(s) at home, you must install an appropriate update for your OS...

Download and install:

** Apple has not addressed the DST 2007 update for older OS versions. Therefore, follow the instruction below.
