-[Nero]- 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2006 Year 2007, world will be dominated by my army! Nah, just joking.... I'm just surprised why there isn't any topic about new year celebration in Xisto forum. So, I opened a topic and wanted to share my new year celebration experience. It was awesome, especially that I will be leaving my country to England soon. My oh my, I really had a wonderful time with my friends. The streets were filled with speakers and humongous sub-woofers right at the middle, and the local DJs were playing their techno musics... The sub-woofers were so powerful that i can feel the bass wave 500 meters away. And of course, there were fireworks... truth to be told, i didn't quite like this years fireworks, it lasted for a short while... but the fireworks were beautiful... at the same time came the excitement... everyone were counting down and then shouting and kissing... and after the fireworks... everyone went home to sleep. So how was ur new year celebration? Mich 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2007 Haven't had our new year yet since we are behind you time wise. I am jealous, none the same, as we live in a small community in the middle of a National Forest and don't have such a nice celebration that goes on here. We have to watch any celebrations on our TV, we do have cable. Although the local casino is having an indoor celebration tonight. We will probably take that in. HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody! arnz 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2007 Had a quiet one down here for a change, whereas on some years I just head out to town and the fireworks display nearby, this year..just had a few over, few drinks, watched the fireworks on the tele, and watched some of the fireworks going off the balcony. So in some ways, a quiet one helps (helps reflect on the past year and what to do/plan the next).
Indego 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2007 New Years Spent in Brisbane Aust, It seems to be a tradition that my partner and I are getting into...This year the same as the last was spent with friends at our annual New Years Eve Dog Show in Brisbane. It was a very pleasant night with good friends, and a great show all round.. No Fire Works though as it scares the dogs, so i've had to settle for the coverage the next day on the TV to see what was happening round the world.....I think that this year is going to be one of many changes to the worlds as we know it and it feels like it could be a very good thing for everyone involved.Wishing everyone online a very happy and safe 2007 .....
