tbtouch 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2006 Google Page Creator currently enables Google Account holders to create single pages, with up to 100MB of storage. The company provides a free URL at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ to access the pages a user creates. Google says Page Creator does not currently support making full "sites" of content. Creating a page using the service requires just a few mouse clicks, and although it's still an early beta release, industry analysts and pundits say it already shows promise. "From the Page Manager, click on the title of the page you want to edit. This will take you to the Page Editor. Once you've clicked into your page, just start typing in the text boxes," explains Google. "On the left side of the page are tools to: change the size and style of your text, create links, and insert images." Different layouts can be selected through a sample gallery, along with "page looks" that provide color and style options. Images can also be uploaded and inserted into pages. You can use up to 100MB of space for your pages and uploaded files. MoreInfo @ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Notice from BuffaloHELP: This post has been brought to you by Mmm, mmm! jlhaslip 4 Report post Posted December 16, 2006 I went over and put together a real quick sample and here is the url:https://sites.google.com/site/jimhaslip/home Pretty cool little piece of work. The page creator, I mean, not the page I built. Simply shows how Google is a front runner and has soooo many good things to offer web users. Keep watching them to see where the Web will take you next...
bhavesh 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2006 I have also tried page creator but it has got problem with it's page editor. It has some problems. If the resolution is 800x600, full editor is not viewable and also no scrollbar is available to scroll down. So every time when I have use it's editor I have to change the resolution to 1024. A bit annoying.
martinnovoty 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2008 I have also tried the google page generator.I am not much surprised with this. I expected more from it. But anyway, It is good when you are on the road, or on different machine and you need very fast publish some simple information on the web page. Then it is right thing. If you want to make more difficult pages then it is not the right way.BRs,M.
