How To Make Scan Lines Very useful tip ^_^

This is a tut for how to make the lines for this:

Step 1

 

Make your picture. However you want.

Step 2

 

With you picture their, leave it for now. And make a new document.

 

Width= 1px

Height=2px

Background contenets= Transparent

 

Step3

 

Now get out your pencil tool, and set the master diameter to 1px. And color black.

 

Step 4

 

Zoom into your document so you can see it probably.

 

Step 5

 

Draw 1 dot at the top. So you have

Step 6

 

Now go to

 

edit >> Define pattern

 

name it anything you want.

 

step 7

 

Now go back to your work. And make a new layer on top of all your other layers. Fill it with a color that goes well with your work. And now double click that layer, to bring up blending options.

 

Step 8

 

Put these options

Make sure the pattern is the one you made.

 

Step 9

 

Now lower the fill off the layer to 20%. And your done. to lower fill, it's on layer window, below Opacity.

first this tips is good but only for noob in photoshop why becouse when you made that "scaN lines" you don't geth anything onlu you lost some inportant thing in the work and that is flow and deeph and the finaly work looks bad ,that lines you can use for the border becouse with that you get nise lookglobaly nise job you done maybe someone will learn something new with that

MetalGear, art (and so graphic design) works this way. Sometimes you may want to "lose" something to get a final result that is in your mind.For diagonal I think that you should make the same but in a 2px X 2px square and paint black only the top left and down right or viceversa. Or maybe you want more distance. Anyway for these things I recommend to pick a piece of paper and draw it so you can see if the pixels draw the sequence that you are seeking.
