BooZker 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2006 OK OK, you all know about bottomless drinks at fast food places and restaurants, well what if you could get a soda you like and no matter how much you drink it never ends. Here are the three different ways this is possible the first is actually impossible right now, but the others could actually be done. Just not for awhile...1. A liquid that grows as soon as it is tipped up 45 degrees. This way when they go to drink it the water grows. The problem with this is mass can not be created and that is what is happening. Let's go on to one that might actually happen.2. A liquid that is SO thirst quenching that you only need to take a very small sip and it would be the same as drinking a can of soda. Problem with this though is that you wouldn't actually be able to intake enough liquid and could be hazardous to your health. Another is that you would actually run out, but it would take a very long time.3. Sort of like 2, but a little different. You take a gulp of this liquid and it SLOWLY breaks down. Hard to explain, but think of it as ice. Ice slowly melts and if you were to eat a huge piece of ice and it melted a a certain rate you would not get thirsty. MY idea is you take a gulp of what i would call, ICECECAL, pronouced Ie-sa-cole, and you wouldnt not have to drink anything for as long as two-three days. The problem is it would actually run out also, but for 2 and three you would buy big things of it like a water cooler and dispense small amounts for 2 or one big amount that lasts 2-3 days for 3.I think this idea is very original if i do say so myself
keri-j 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2006 Invent a bottomless bottle of Vodka and I'll do anything for you. That is, until I drink myself under the table, and then about 6 feet under the ground. Cool ideas though.

Interestng post anyways.

master_bacarra 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2006 liquid that grows? you've got to be kidding me. it's not even an organism.your number 2 could actually be done, but it's more like "fooling your brain", just like those smell-a-vision thingy, where you sniff the product that would make you feel full already. since it's actually using the senses, and that it has a direct connection to the brain, the effect would be that you won't feel hungry.your number 3 could probably be done as well. maybe chemically or something. BooZker 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2006 I knew the first is impossible, but an idea of how. The other two are my actual thoughts on it. It would be fooling your brain and that's why i dont think it would be healthy or even good for you. Overall the third would be the best over all. It would somehow have to be a liquid that slowly breaks apart for your body to digest it.
heavensounds 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2006 Hehe...Yeah this is anice fiction, because if that was possible, water wouldn't be such a problem nowadays and all the African children would have fresh water to drink in countless amounts. However, you cannot create matter out of nothing so the only realistic way of having inumerous amounts of liquid, is to have a sort of source with incredible amounts of water, which still would not be neverending! This is a good idea but I think that its place is in dreams;)
BooZker 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2006 Your most likely right, but i bet people thought about that when they looked up at the moon and said,"No one will ever get up there" haha That's why i write about all of my ideas, because i believe a lot of them will come true, except for creating matter, but the others are all possible. salamangkero 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2006 I think this idea is very original if i do say so myself Imagining the first idea is fun, in itself. Should the liquid "grow" at an alarming rate, it would certainly be amusing to see a poor fellow drenched by a gush of cola, the moment he tips his glass. The second idea is very much like modern-day drugs. The South American natives (I forgot which country) chewed on leaves of the coca plant, in effect, using cocaine. They claim not to feel fatigue, hunger or thirst. The third one was conceived by aviator and writer Antoine de-Saint Exupery in his book, The Little Prince. A merchant was vending pills that is equivalent to several drinks of water. "Expert" calculations showed that you'd save four hours or so each week, if you didn't have to drink.Very refreshing idea, though, if you'll pardon the pun
husker 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2006 Another problem with the first one, besides the fact that it is impossible, is straws. The glass isn't tipped 45 degrees if you have a straw, and is usually not tipped at all. I like the second and third ones though. If it ever was made, it would be very expensive. Don't try it with alcohol like everyone else said. Pretty neat stuff, maybe you can invent it!
BooZker 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2006 If i were to ever invent this, which i doubt, but you NEVER know, i would give everyone who posted in my topic here free drinks!
