I posted this earlyer, and the post wouldn't show..... so i am trying again since the other post has been hidden/deleted

If you cant tell, it looks a little bit weird yes? and i am not talking about the red logo, or the fact there is not titles for the nav menu's yet... and i don't really care about that yet, right now all i am worried about is coding it... so i was hoping that maybe someone could help me figure out why that gap is there between the header and the background for the menu's and content

i am not using CSS yet.. i am just working on coding the template then i will worry about the logo, the nav headers, and the cssattached is what i see in FF

The two go hand in hand. Put some css in there now. Set margins and padding to zero on the body element and see if that changes anything.

I never use Strict doctypes. I always go with Transitional. But why is there a table within the table?

I remember doing that before, on a previous template of mine, and it didn't help me. I had to place the banner as a background image for the table cell it is in, and set width and height for the cell. But if that suggestion works, then forget about mine. :blink:

@ haslip css, they do not for me, not right now, all i am using CSS for is color text, and links, and background color, not worried about anything else in it right now...and i have resolved this issue, it didn't like the doctype i was using so i changed it and it's all better now, thanks for your help this can be closed
