arbd 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2006 Lego Star Wars II takes the fun and customization ability of the LEGO play pattern and combines it with the epic story, characters and action from the revolutionary Star Wars: Episodes IV, V and VI. With a unique tongue-in-cheek take on the Original Trilogy, LEGO Star Wars II lets you build and battle your way through your favorite film moments. From Darth Vader's pursuit of Princess Leia aboard her Blockade Runner to Luke's final confrontation with Emperor Palpatine. For the first time ever, characters can get in and out of vehicles, as well as ride creatures. Because it's LEGO style, you can also mix and match the body parts of more than 50 playable characters to create one of millions of possible LEGO Star Wars heroes. And on PS2, Xbox and Windows platforms, a game save from the first LEGO Star Wars can unlock another 50-plus additional characters for Free Play mode -- that's more than 100 total characters. Other exciting additions include free-roaming vehicle levels, the ability to switch ships at will in Free Play mode, cool new character-specific attacks and maneuvers, playable mini-kit vehicles, an adaptive difficulty option and more. dreus 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2006 Though I've yet to try out Lego Star Wars II, I can surely say that the first game was just a lot of fun. It retains a lot of the LucasArts kind of feel but at the same time adds in a lot of Lego to give you that chance to relive your childhood. If the second game is anything like the first, I'd surely recommend trying it out. kkrizka 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2006 I liked the part 1 when I played it at my cousin's house. It wouldn't run on my computer for some reason, some Pixel Shader or something error. Maybe I'll try the second version over the winter break if I have time!
Thorned Rose 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2006 I've got it and have to say its bloody awesome. Its one of those rare kinds of games where a 5 year old, 20 year old year old or 40 year old can play and really enjoy themselves. Heaps to do as well...you can finish the story missions pretty quickly but then there's secret areas and bonus levels you can then go back and discover. A big chuckle-fest when you play it co-op
