Multiple Recipients Using Outlook Express hiding all recipients addresses and resending procedure

Recommended Posts

I have two things I want to do with Outlook Express, but I can't find out how to, or even if it's possible:-1. I want to send the same e-mail blind to multiple recipients (so they can not see each others e-mail address)As far as I can see, there is no 'Blind Copy' facility...! :) 2. How does one re-send an e-mail? Maybe I'm being dumb - but I can't even see how to do this!Any help much appreciated!

In your address book, you can create a group where it contains email addresses of your choice. You can then send to that group email and the recipient would only see the group email "alias" rather than all emails in listing. To create a group, open your Outlook Express.Click or open your Address book.File > New GroupGive a Group NameSelect members (or enter new contact lists by adding one by one at the bottom)To resend an email you can do two ways:1) send yourself a copy (or include your email address in the group list); open the self-received copy and select to forward your email using different recipient address2) if you have "save email to sent folder" option as ON, you can then click the message in your sent folder and resend the same email to the same recipients

Well I tried that - but sadly it is not good enough. :)
Anyone receiving the e-mail can just go to File - Properties and see everyone else's address.
I guess I'm screwed trying to use Outlook Express...

Anyone know of any free / cheap e-mail software with truly blind copy facilities?
