deejaygeo 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 Hey, I just got hosting yesterday and everything seemed to be set up and working fine, until later tonight the site has just stopped working. The cpanel still works, but the site is just not responding for anyone.The URL is http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. Any idea's what could be going on? BuffaloHelp 24 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 When you change your nameserver to new hosting, sometimes it works immediately.But the standard waiting time period is anywhere from 24~72 hours before it can actually work with your domain name and hosting account.Ping your domain name using the command prompt. And if it returns with Xisto - Web Hosting's IP address please contact xisto.com/helpdesk and send your support ticket to Xisto - Web Hosting. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
deejaygeo 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 Yep, see the thing is the nameserver is indeed active on the xisto servers (if that even makes sense).
