Cpanel Last Access Address

I logged into my cpanel today and in the part near the top of the page it said that the last address to login to my cpanel was 127.0.0.1 I was wondering what that's about? By my thinking that would mean that someone on the serverside had logged into my cpanel, and I was wondering why that might be? Or if there was perhapse some other little glitch that would yeild that information. I took a screenshot but don't have it on me, so perhapse I'll post it later if I can get a hold of it (on a diffrent computer network)

I, too, have the 127.0.0.1 as the last logged in IP address. Before speculating please be patient until OpaQue can provide us with the right answer. It is not a bug in the system but it may be a fault in cpanel IP recognition script (due to internal firewall).Xisto Corporation does not access one's cPanel without a consent or prior communication.

lol dude 127.0.0.1 is the ip for localhost.

What is 127.0.0.1?
127.0.0.1 is the standard IP address used for a loopback network connection.

This means that if you try to connect to 127.0.0.1, you are immediately looped back to your own machine.

If you telnet, ftp, etc... to 127.0.0.1, you are connected to your own machine.

In other words, 127.0.0.1 is you.

Well The temporary Ip I got isn't letting my pages link with my domain so hopefully when admin is back on I can find out what my cpanel login is. I can't seem to find it anywhere on my PC.

The most infamous use of the localhost IP was the widely popularized *BLEEP*checker Incident. On an IRC channel, a would-be hacker named *BLEEP*checker lagged out and blamed an apparent Channel Op named Elch. After the others in the channel failed to calm him down, *BLEEP*checker threatened to hack Elch saying that all he needed was an IP address.
Elch replied by stating his IP was (incorrectly) 129.0.0.1, but then gave him the localhost address. Minutes later, *BLEEP*checker again lagged out, complaining that his computer crashed when he returned. Elch again provided the same information as before. Believing he had the answer, he told Elch that he knew he had a firewall after he again crashed.

*BLEEP*checker then claimed to have a virus that wiped out a computer's entire memory stores, he started posting the status in the channel. *BLEEP*checker then crashed again and was not heard from since. The story has been posted in many bulletin boards and is one of the most hilarious and popular hacking incidents on the Internet.
